Key Figures

The Health and Hope Oasis was built on 10 Feddans in the middle of a Farmland in Wadi El Natrun, the Governorate of Behira. It was built in three phases:

Phase one was completed in 2012 and consists of 60 housing units, two multipurpose rooms that can accommodate up to 100 people and are used for different indoor activities, 8 special units, the educational kitchen and the area of electrical services, the water tower, and the drinking well.

Phase one started receiving children in 2012.

Phase two: was completed in 2020 and includes the main kitchen, main dining room, the laundry, multiple storage areas, changing rooms for the staff and two buildings used for offices and housing the live in staff.

Phase three is 80% complete and includes bike tracks, football field, changing rooms, parking lot, the children's farm, and designated areas for future sports.

Since March of 2012, HHO has hosted 14,000 guests (children with cancer and their families) and 1,261 volunteers.

Since our inception in 2012, we have organized a total of 513 trips, serving 4,910 sick children, 4,399 parents, and 4,625 accompanying family members.”

Our impact has grown steadily over the years, reaching a peak of 816 sick children during the period from June 2022 to June 2023.

Hosting Camps and Retreats at the Health and Hope Oasis
The Oasis hosts private trips when there are no engagements related to the primary activity (which involves children with cancer and their families).
